Who We Are
The Village Nation is a non-profit who’s mission is to create a village network of mentors, educators, and community change agents who are dedicated to empowering African American students to excel academically and thrive as leaders on campus and beyond.
Our Impact
We strive to dismantle isolation and foster connections among peers through collaboration and networking.
By sharing best practices and empowering each other with solution-focused approaches, we embody the wisdom of the African proverb: "Alone you go fast, but together we can go far!" Together, we can achieve greater heights and create lasting impact.

What We Do
TVN’s Mission is to boost the capacity of caring adult mentors and support them in creating culturally responsive learning environments that engage and inspire African American youth and encourage them to embrace their natural intelligence and leadership capabilities.
Rooted in History
Our youth can become more fully developed individuals, rooted in their history, who make better choices and demonstrate extraordinary achievement gains as they prepare to succeed in college, career, and community.
In working with students, parents, teachers and administrators, we strive to maintain the highest possible standards and quality while leading our youth to be the change agents of tomorrow.
